Twelve Days of Christmas. This is the time of year that we sing Christmas Carols most of which tell us about the birth of Jesus or the events around that great event.. However there are a few Christmas Carols that do not seam to have anything to do with Christmas one of them being The Twelve Days of Christmas,. Apart from letting us know that Christmas has twelve days, it tells us that.   Let us face it, notwithstanding the effort to secularize Christmas and the reason for the holidays, there is no Christmas and no holidays if it were not for the birth of Christ. Christmas also is a time for singing Christmas carols and Christmas songs. One of the favorite songs at this time of the year is The Twelve Days of Christmas.

Holy Spirit; And also the three days Christ spent in the tomb. 4th Day The “Four Calling Birds” are the four Gospels written by Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. 5th Day The “Five Golden Rings” are the first five books of the Bible known as the Law, Torah or Pentateuch; and the five wise and five foolish virgins. 6th Day. Catholic Coloring Books There aren't many things that children love more than coloring books. There are coloring books for almost everything, so why not give your child a coloring book of Jesus, Mary or the Saints. They will have loads of fun while also learning about their Faith.

The Twelve Days of Christmas is set according to the Church calendar which is observed by many traditions in Christianity. It is not exclusive to the Roman Catholic calendar. Many Protestants recognize the importance and the need to respect key events in the Church calendar. In fact, there are many days of holy worship which Protestants observe. These six meditations offer a time and a place, suggested scripture readings from the Gospel texts, and provocative meditations. Participants will experience and share the commitment of fellowship in the days leading up to the surprise and joy of Eas.
